Links to "normal" aikido web-sites (well, as normal as those loony martial artists can get - be warned, reading too many of these can affect your eyesite and judment)

  • Airenjuku Aikido Dojo lovely, lively people who don't mind using walls to stop rolls (dojo can be a bit small) and near one of the best pubs in London.

  • Iwama in Hampstead a dojo who still believe in putting the "harm" in harmony. Strangely pleasant to beginners, they still enjoy the thwock of hand on face.

  • Kobyashai near Old Street a London aikikai group who we're in regular (and friendly) contact with - fun people to train with, enjoy stretching a bit too much...

  • Mirfield Martial arts strong traditional aikido "oop North" as willing to share a brew or a beer as their aikido

  • Aikiweb.com about the best all-purpose aikido web-site you can find. They ever have a humour section??!

  • Aikido Portal a site with a twist. The sadistic leader of this dojo makes his students do a review of other dojos as part of their course and (here's the good bit) put them on the web-site. Are you there ? We are (sods, don't know who the bloody pictures of, but we're NOT that ugly..)

  • Aikido Fellowship of Great Britain . Brought to our attention by one of their people joining us for a dance, this group seem very professional (the website startled this reporter as it's got music and everyfing) and friendly - worth a look.

  • Aikido 4 Beginners - a beginners guide to Aikido

  • Aikido - Netherlands A site from the Netherlands containing links to many and varied aikido dojos

  • Aikido FAQ another good site for info, humour, articles and kewl graphics. Try it and see...
